ENROLLMENT When campers enroll in any of the 5 Star Summer Soccer Camps, they are automatically in the club! The benefits include: ongoing motivation to improve all year long, opportunity to earn a bag tag among the levels (25, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000), and possible recognition on the all time records list!

OBJECTIVE Maximizing touches on the ball is the best way to develop first touch and technique. The more time a youth player spends with the ball, the more they have a chance to develop a comfort level with it.

JUGGLING – WHAT IT IS AND HOW IT WORKS Juggling a soccer ball occurs when an individual manipulates the ball using parts of the body that may contact the ball in a game (feet, thighs, chest, etc.), keeping it up and off of the ground under control. The following methods are the types of juggling that are recognized by the 5 Star Soccer Skills Juggling Club: One Bounce Juggling & Standard Juggling.

*One Bounce Juggling The youth player starts with the ball either on the ground or dropping from the hands, keeping the ball up and off of the ground continuously, allowing a maximum of one bounce in between touches if necessary. Choose a flat surface: hard ground, artificial turf, futsal court, basketball court, tennis court, etc., to provide the best chance to maintain control. Only touches with the feet count toward the total score. One Bounce Juggling is for youth players ages 5-10.

*Standard Juggling (No Bounce) The youth player must control the ball without letting it hit the ground. While juggling involves use of the different parts of the body to control the ball, our Standard Juggling Skills requires touches off of the foot to count towards the overall score. The youth player cannot use the same foot more than three times in a row in their juggling. If other parts of the body are used to control and juggle the ball, those touches will not count towards the overall score. Younger youth players of any age may attempt Standard Juggling, but will be required for those ages 11 and older.

VERIFICATION Youth players should practice juggling both at the field and away from the field. In either case, when attempting to earn a best score or bag tag, the effort must be recognized by an adult, parent or coach who will be willing to submit the personal best. Once achieved, submit your scores for recognition! Good Luck and KEEP ON KICKING!

"Coach Wiggins was instrumental in my early development as a youth soccer player. His guidance helped me improve my soccer skills, along with the physical and mental aspects of the game. The early stages of player development are crucial, and Coach Wiggins has proven to be effective in guiding players to long and successful soccer careers." Tim Regan - Former player and 6 year veteran, MLS.
